In addition to creating the dance community Jam Fam and being a former competitive dancer, Matthew has gained valuable experience as a physiotherapist. He has treated many individuals from dance teams/communities including: Jam Fam, Prestige, Crave NZ, AUDA, MDC, and The Spreading Tree Studio throughout the years. He now teaches and works in Kinetic Dance Studio NZ, a new dance studio in Auckland CBD.

KINETIC DANCE STUDIO is a brand new studio located in the heart of Auckland CBD, in a prime location on Lorne Street surrounded by the best eateries and entertainment spots. Kinetic Dance Studio was founded in Sydney by Mitchell Yee in 2021. His brother Matthew Yee and his cousin Timothy Choy saw an opportunity to expand his vision based on three fundamentals; Knowledge, Inspire, Nurture and take this back home to New Zealand. We’ve created a space that we hope all dancers in New Zealand feel welcome to call this their home. Kinetic is not just a dance school, it’s a place to bring people together and continuously strive to find new ways to add value to the community.
